Amelia Baptist Church has been committed to the Great Commission since its founding in 1914. Over the past century, ABC has sought to equip believers in the faith so that their love for Christ and for others would grow. One of the primary ways that ABC has sought to equip its members is through the faithful teaching of God's Word. Below you will find several ways that Amelia Baptist seeks to educate its people for the purpose of godliness and gospel advancement.
Sunday School Bible Connect Groups: 9:45-10:45am
*All youth & children's volunteers have passed a state certified background check.
Nursery - Child care is provided for babies and toddlers (infant through 3 yrs of age) by qualified church members during Sunday School and the Worship Service.
Children's Classes (PreK-5th Grade) - LifeWay's Explore the Bible (education building)
Youth Class (Grades 6-12) - LifeWay's Explore the Bible (ministry center basement)
College & Career Class (18-25yrs) - LifeWay's Explore the Bible (sanctuary)
Adult Classes - LifeWay's Explore the Bible (education building & sanctuary)
Children
A Children's message is given during Worship Service each Sunday
Youth Group
Throughout the year the youth participate in various mission projects, conferences, and other fun trips.
Wednesday Nights
Prayer Meeting & Adult Bible Study @ 6:30 pm (Willing Workers Classroom)
Vacation Bible School
Ages 3 (potty trained) through 5th Grade

Women's Bible Study
Every Monday at 1 pm, the ladies of ABC gather together in someone's home to fellowship, study the Bible, and pray for one another.
Men's Prayer Group
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, a men's breakfast is held in the ministry center at 8:00 a.m. All are welcome!
Upward Bound Group
Our senior's group meets at various times throughout the year (August-June). These gatherings are filled with a devotion, fun activities, occasional trips, good food, and prayer.
